Privacy Policy
Section 1 – What Do We Do with Your Data?
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process we collect the personal information you provide, such as your name, address, and email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer's Internet Protocol (IP) address, which gives us information about your browser and operating system. Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products, and other updates.
Section 2 – Consent
How do I give my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange a delivery, or return a purchase, you agree that we collect and use that information only for that specific purpose. If we need your personal information for another purpose, such as marketing, we will ask you directly for your express consent or give you the opportunity to withdraw your consent.
How do I withdraw my consent? If you change your mind after registering, you can withdraw your consent to our further collection, use, or disclosure of your information at any time by contacting us at info@modemeister-outlet.co.
Section 3 – Disclosure
We may disclose your personal information if we are required to do so by law or if you violate our Terms and Conditions.
Section 4 – Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that lets us sell you our products and services.
Your data is stored in Shopify's data stores, databases, and general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment: If you choose to use a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, Shopify stores your credit card information. It is encrypted in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction information is stored only for as long as necessary to complete your purchase transaction. Once the transaction is complete, your transaction information is deleted.
The PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and our service providers. For more information, you can also review Shopify's Terms of Service (https://www.shopify.com/legal/terms) or Privacy Policy (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy).
Section 5 – Services Provided by Third Parties
In general, the third-party providers we use will only collect, use, and share your information to the extent necessary to provide the services they perform for us.
However, certain third-party providers, such as payment gateways and other payment processors, have their own privacy policies regarding the information we are required to provide them for your purchase-related transactions. We recommend that you read the privacy policies of these providers so you understand how they will process your personal information.
Please note in particular that some providers may be based in, or have offices in, a country other than yours or ours. So if you complete a transaction through the services of a third-party provider, your data may become subject to the laws of the country where that provider or its offices are located.
Once you leave our store's website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer covered by this Privacy Policy or our website's Terms and Conditions .

Section 6 – Security
To protect your personal data, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry-standard practices to help ensure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, it is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and stored with AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and apply other generally accepted industry standards.
